Straight answers about the product.
Understand what True Overlay does, why information may be unavailable, and where the platform draws its operational boundaries.
Is True Overlay a tipping service?+
No. It is an experimental decision-support product that publishes probability estimates, source evidence, and uncertainty.
Does a positive market gap guarantee value?+
No. It means the available decimal price is above the model's fair-price estimate at a particular time. Both the model and market can be wrong.
Why can a race have no analysis?+
The race may be outside enabled coverage, stale, already underway, abandoned, incomplete, or unable to pass structured-output validation.
Can I download the provider's raw race data?+
No. Syndicate exports and APIs contain derived True Overlay prediction records, not a raw provider-data resale feed.
What happens to losing predictions?+
They remain in the public results ledger after official settlement.
How are non-runners handled?+
Declared non-runners are excluded from new probability generation. Source corrections are retained through updated normalized records and audit timestamps.
Does True Overlay place bets?+
No. It does not hold funds, place wagers, or connect directly to betting accounts.
Which regions are supported?+
Initial automatic coverage follows The Racing API Standard feed. Full North American and Australian coverage remains disabled until licensed add-ons are connected.
